We are very pleased to welcome Leon Aghazarian, who joins us as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales.
Leon was previously Executive Director of Equity Sales at CIBC Capital Markets. Among other accomplishments, in this role he led the development of a new business platform with the largest pension fund in Quebec. Prior to CIBC, Leon was Vice-President & Equity Research Analyst at National Bank Financial, covering over 40 small/mid-cap companies. He began his career as an Equity Research Analyst with the capital markets division of iA Securities, which in 2021 was rebranded as iA Capital Markets.
Leon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance from the University of Sherbrooke and an MSc. in international finance and capital markets from Brighton University in the UK.
